X options: Required and {optional} switches
00 Show MHS configuration {-D} {-V}
01 Define new user of application -U -S -A {-P} {-E} {-O} {-Y} {-D} {-V}
The -Y switch works as follows:
-Y omitted:
Work as in MHSUSER 1.1: If application is a managed
application, then place as one of the "also-uses"
applications. If all 4 also-uses applications are
used, then fail. If application is an unmanaged
application, then add a directory for the user for
this application.
-Y0:
Add application as preferred application and slide
any existing applications down removing any empty
application entries in the process. If user already
has 5 applications, then fail. If application is an
unmanaged application, then fail.
-Y1:
Add as first available free managed application for
user. If user already has 5 managed applications,
fail. If specified application is an unmanaged
application, then fail.
02 Delete user -U -S -A {-D} {-V}
03 Query for list of users {-U} {-A} {-D} {-V}
04 Verify user -U {-A} {-P} {-D} {-V}
05 Change user's password -U -P [-Q | -S] {-D} {-V}
10 Register/modify application -S -A -E {-M} {-C} {-D} {-V}
11 Remove application -S -A {-D} {-V}
21 Create Unique Message IDs {-I} {-D} {-V}
31 Add/Modify host -H -T -S -E {-R} {-U} {-P} {-C} {-D} {-V}
This function will fail, returning exit errorlevel 33 if MHS Server 0
(the MHS Router) is running.
-H Host name to be added or modified
-T Host type:
0 = HOST: Host reached via telephone call FROM that host
1 = HVIA: Host reached via an intermediary
2 = HUB: Host reached via telephone call TO that host
3 = INET: Host reached via Internet path
4 = GTW: Gateway
-S Admin's password
-E Description (0 to 24 characters, use "_" to enter spaces)
-R Route:
HOST: optional "don't care" switch
HVIA: name of intermediary host
HUB: telephone number of host
INET: internet path
GTW: optional gateway commands
-U NetWare username for NetWare internet sessions
-P NetWare password for NetWare internet sessions
Remote host's password for other host types
-C Optional host version (61 through 70 are valid -- 64 is default)
32 Delete host -H -S {-D} {-V}
This function will fail, returning exit errorlevel 33 if MHS Server 0
(the MHS Router) is running.
33 List host table -S {-H} {-T} {-D} {-V}
41 Add/Modify user routing -U -S -E -R {-D} {-V}
This function will fail, returning exit errorlevel 33 if MHS Server 0
(the MHS Router) is running.
42 Delete user routing -U -S {-D} {-V}
This function will fail, returning exit errorlevel 33 if MHS Server 0
(the MHS Router) is running.
43 List user routings -S {-U} {-D} {-V}
51 Add/Modify affiliated workgroup -W -S -E {-D} {-V}
This function will fail, returning exit errorlevel 33 if MHS Server 0
(the MHS Router) is running.
52 Delete affiliated workgroup -W -S {-D} {-V}
This function will fail, returning exit errorlevel 33 if MHS Server 0
(the MHS Router) is running.
53 List affiliated workgroups -S {-W} {-D} {-V}
60 Change schedule time -B -S {-D} {-V}
This function will fail, returning exit errorlevel 33 or 1 if MHS
Server 0 (the MHS Router) is running.
61 Set MHS administrator -U -S {-D} {-V}
62 Verify MHS administrator -U {-S} {-D} {-V}
70 Repost -S {-H} {-D} {-V}
This function will fail, returning exit errorlevel 33 if MHS Server 0
(the MHS Router) is running.
Repost without the -h switch reposts all queues. Repost with -h
reposts only the queue for the host specified after the -h switch.
Example:
MHSUSER -X01 -Ujsmith -Spandora -Aatc -Pxyz -Ojims -V
This defines the MHS user jsmith with the password xyz. The MHS
administrator's password is pandora. The rights to jsmith are assigned to the
NetWare user jims.
Switches:
-A Application name; e.g., ATC, FWMAIL, DVSEMAIL
-B Schedule Every: in "Set Up Transport
Server" - the MHS cyle duration in second.
-C Compatibility version of MHS; i.e., 64
for MHS 1.1n, 70 for MHS 1.5n.
-D The MV directory. (The parent directory of MHS).
-E A description of the application. Any
text will do. The text does not need to
match any previous description.
-H An MHS hostname.
-I The number of message-ids to generate. If the -I
switch is omitted, only one message-id is created.
-M Used for limiting the number of users
that can be specified in MHS for a managed application
-O NetWare user to whom rights should be assigned for a
local user being defined.
-P For defining a local user, the user's MHS password.
For defining Internets, the password of the NetWare
user on the remote file server.
-Q When changing a user's MHS password, the user's

-R For defining of hosts, -R varies according to the host
type being defined. (See 31, above). For defining
user routes, the host to which mail should be routed.
-S The MHS administrator's password.
-T The type of host being defined (see 31, above.)
-U For defining a local user, the user's MHS password.
For defining an Internet, the NetWare username with
which an attachment to the remote file server will be
made.
-V Causes MHSUSER to return an error report after
performing an operation. (See error level codes,
below).
-W The name of the workgroup being defined.
-Y The method with which a new application should be
